Overview

PLRB staff received a confirmation email dated July 1, 2019, confirming the adoption and enforcement of MN State Building Codes from Ross Leonhardi, Building Inspector for Freeborn County. 

Under Chapter 42 (Zoning) in Freeborn County, MN Muni Code § 42-680 a (Permit required), a building permit is required for the erection, enlarging, structural alteration, demolition or removal of any building, within unincorporated areas of the county.
